SMS Messaging Terms & Consent

Washhaus Laundromats offers an optional text-message (SMS) service so we can send customers information they request - most commonly a link to download our app to sign up for Wash, Dry & Fold pickup & delivery, plus pricing, locations, and answers to service questions. This page explains how the program works and how customers consent to receive messages.

HOW CUSTOMERS OPT IN (VERBAL CONSENT)

Customers opt in verbally, during a phone call with Washhaus Laundromats. When a caller asks us to send information by text, our phone receptionist asks for permission and confirms the customer's mobile number before any message is sent. No message is ever sent without the customer's explicit, spoken agreement on the call. We do not text numbers from purchased, rented, or third-party lists.

THE EXACT OPT-IN SCRIPT WE USE ON CALLS

Receptionist: "The easiest way to get started is by downloading the Washhaus app and creating an account. Would you like me to send you the download link by text?"

Customer: "Yes."

Receptionist: "Great - can I confirm the best mobile number to text you at?"

Customer: [provides mobile number]

Receptionist: "Perfect - I'll text you the signup info right now. You'll get one message with the app links, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out."

WHAT WE SEND (SAMPLE MESSAGE)

"Hi from Washhaus Laundromats! Download our app to sign up for Wash, Dry & Fold pickup & delivery. iPhone: [App Store link] Android: [Google Play link] Reply STOP to opt out."

MESSAGE FREQUENCY, RATES, AND HOW TO STOP

Message frequency varies and depends on your requests - most customers receive only the message(s) they ask for. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe; you will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (585) 348-7102.
